I am originally from India. I moved to the United States in 1993 and joined the Westchester Art Workshop in 1997. Initially I worked on Handbuit functional pots. A few years later, I moved to the Clay Art Center and have been working on the wheel, making functional pottery. Having lived in England, Greece, Italy and the Middle East, my work is a blend of different cultures and artistic influences. I like working with colored slips and glazes and doing intricate designs on my work. Each of my ceramic pieces is one of a kind. I am a member at the Mamaroneck artists Guild for ceramics and oil paintings.
